KNOW

  • Begin your family devo time with a prayer asking God to focus everyone’s attention on Him together.  Feel free to have one of your kids pray!
  • Say this week’s Gospel statement out loud together (in the picture above!)…feel free to have your family say it along with you, or repeat short phrases. Our goal is to memorize this phrase by the end of the week!
  • BIBLE TIME: Read John 5:24 out loud together.
    • Challenge your children who are old enough to read to follow along in their own physical Bibles.

GROW

Watch the video above together as a family!
  • Family Discussion: What does “already, but not yet” mean?
  • If you could describe what eternal life in Jesus is like for us who know Him today, what would you say?
  • Bonus: Go read Revelation 21 out loud together to see what the “not yet” of eternal life will look like one day!

GO

  • Take turns praying as a family.  Praise God for the LIFE you know today if you have trusted in Jesus alone to save you from your sins!  If you haven’t done that, would you like to put your faith in Jesus today?
  • THIS WEEK‘S CHALLENGE: Have each family member share out loud about one person who needs to hear that God is holy and created us to be with Him, our sins separate us from Him, no good work takes away the stain of sin, that Jesus paid for our sins by dying and rising again, everyone who trusts Jesus alone with their entire life has eternal life, and that life with Jesus starts NOW and goes on forever into eternity!
  • Have one family member or all re-state today’s Gospel statement: Life with Jesus starts now and lasts forever.
  • BONUS OPTION TO CLOSE: Listen & sing along with either “Infinite Love of Christ” by Shane & Shane or “Know You As You Are” by Shane & Shane:
